Markus Raddoch works in Sales North for innotec - and has done so for almost exactly a year, as he started with us on 1 February 2024. So it's high time for a first interim assessment: What does Markus' day-to-day work at innotec look like and what does he particularly like about working for us?

How did you come to innotec and what did you do before?

I was working in the construction industry at the time. Through contact with our sales manager Oliver Steve Heindl and several good and convincing discussions, the collaboration with innotec came about.

What tasks are part of your daily work?

Organisation and planning are a large part of my job, but of course close contact with our customers and our branches is just as important. Market research and pricing are also part of my work. And last but not least, it's important to generate sales by winning new orders and customers for innotec.

What does a normal working day look like for you?

It starts with a coffee - you can't do anything before that (laughs). Then we check our emails and make our first phone calls, usually to colleagues. Depending on what the calendar says, there are then appointments on the programme. These also include site inspections and analyses. But of course I'm not just out in the field, I'm also active in the office, for example when it comes to data maintenance and preparing quotations.

Why do you like working at innotec?

Here I can work with a wide variety of people and realise my own potential in sales.A flat hierarchy enables us to make decisions quickly and act swiftly.

We innotecies are all PIONEERS OF THE FUTURE together. What does that mean for you and your work?

As described, we have a dynamic corporate culture. This means we are constantly developing together.

What are you particularly good at professionally?

I quickly familiarise myself with a wide variety of situations and can react to them.

What are you particularly good at in your private life?

Keeping quiet at the right moment.

How would you describe yourself in three words?

Open, committed, loyal.

What are your hobbies?

I'm passionate about American cars.

What would you take with you to a desert island?

Thinking practically: a saucepan.
