Oliver Steve Heindl has been Head of Sales at innotec since October 2023. In this interview, he talks about his unconventional approach, what he thinks defines our corporate spirit and how he contributes to it.

How did you come to innotec and what did you do before?

I became aware of innotec through an interesting advertisement, applied and found out in a very constructive conversation that we were a good match. I had previously worked in sales for over 30 years - mainly in the construction and trade sector. I spent 17 of those years in responsible management positions.

What tasks are part of your daily work?

My tasks consist of structuring everyday life in sales and coordinating everything that goes with it. I always keep an eye on upcoming projects and like to go beyond the ordinary to find new approaches and initiate improvements.

What does a normal working day look like for you?

There is no such thing as a "normal" working day when free spirits work together. New challenges await me every day, which have to be mastered with leadership intelligence. I never lose sight of the team spirit and am always ready to listen to my colleagues.

Why do you like working at innotec?

At innotec, I particularly appreciate the space that the company gives me to freely develop my somewhat unconventional personality and way of working. I can use my strengths profitably and thus contribute to the further development of the company.

We innotecies are all PIONEERS OF THE FUTURE together. What does that mean for you and your work?

As Henry Ford once said: "Those who always do what they can already do, always remain what they already are." For me, this means that real innovation only comes about if we have the courage to break new ground and constantly develop ourselves further. At innotec, we have the freedom and resources to do just that - to actively shape the future and fully exploit our potential in an inspiring working environment.

What are you particularly good at professionally?

I am very good at managing and training employees, creating and optimizing structures. I also like to think "out of the box", am a mindset coach and attach great importance to public speaking.

What are you particularly good at in your private life?

In my private life, my strengths are similar to those in my job: I support my fellow human beings and like to be there for them when they need me.

How would you describe yourself in three words?

Intuitive, responsible, solution-oriented

What are your hobbies?

Crafts, singing, sport and my family.

What would you take with you to a desert island?

Knife, folding saw, weatherproof clothing, paracord, fire steel, medication, metal container, drinking vessel with water filter, sleeping bag, tarp tent, waterproof rucksack, hammock with mosquito net, hatchet and durable food.
