Boxes of old company stationery: off to the bin? Not with us!

Paper is produced with high consumption of raw materials - and that also means high energy and water consumption. As specialists in waste and resource management, we at innotec see it as our responsibility to use these resources as carefully as possible. Recycling is not an option for us, but a conviction we live by.

We are therefore delighted that our old stationery, which was no longer usable after the company name change and rebranding, is now being given a second lease of life in the form of lovingly designed, handmade notebooks. This was made possible by the expert advice and creative realisation of ideas from the fecit craft workshop in Kiel.

Notebook workshop at fecit

Handwerkerhof fecit is part of Werk- und Betreuungsgemeinschaft Kiel e.V. and sees itself as a partner for people with support needs. Here, people with various disabilities find a protected environment in which to learn and permanently practise manual or creative activities. From gardening to pottery and from woodwork to metalwork - the workshops are varied and practical.

In the notebook workshop, high-quality notebooks are made by hand from our unused business paper: with great care and attention to detail. This creates unique items that are not only ecologically valuable, but also socially significant. We can even produce special formats or customised booklet sizes on request. Our notebooks in the small, square Pixi book style were also produced in the workshop for the first time and placed particular demands on the dexterity of the employees.

Sustainability meets inclusion

For us as a company, this project is an example of how ecological and social responsibility go hand in hand. By reusing our old paper, we avoid waste and save resources - and at the same time we support a workshop that offers people with assistance needs real prospects.

Because sustainability is more than just environmental protection. It also means participation, respect and community action. This is exactly what Handwerkerhof fecit lives by - and this is precisely why we are proud of this collaboration.
